This policy ensures ATScore remains a reliable, secure service for all users. Fair use means using our service in good faith for its intended purpose: optimizing your resume for ATS systems.
1. Permitted Use
You may use ATScore to:
- • Analyze your own resumes
- • Get recommendations for ATS optimization
- • Compare resumes against job descriptions
- • Improve your resume formatting and content
- • Track your analysis history and improvements
- • Use features available in your subscription plan
- • Share your results for personal use
2. Prohibited Activities
You may NOT use ATScore for:
Abuse & Misuse
- • Uploading resumes not your own
- • Analyzing resumes for other people (unless authorized)
- • Using false or fraudulent information
- • Impersonating others
- • Analyzing competitors' content
- • Reselling or redistributing our service
Technical Abuse
- • Automated scraping or bots
- • DDoS attacks or system overload
- • Hacking or unauthorized access
- • Reverse engineering our algorithms
- • Creating multiple accounts to bypass limits
- • Using API calls excessively
Illegal & Harmful
- • Illegal activities or content
- • Hate speech or discrimination
- • Harassment or threats
- • Malware or viruses
- • Stolen data or intellectual property
- • Privacy violations
Commercial Misuse
- • Using ATScore for business without license
- • Offering ATScore as a service to others
- • Selling access to our tools
- • Using for recruitment services
- • Bulk processing for commercial gain
- • Reselling analyses
3. Usage Limits
Different subscription plans have different limits:
Free Plan
- • Limited analyses per month
- • Basic features only
- • Reasonable use expectations
- • Not for commercial use
Premium Plans
- • Unlimited analyses (within fair use)
- • Advanced features included
- • For personal use only (unless noted)
- • No reselling or redistribution
We monitor usage patterns. Unusual activity (e.g., 1000+ analyses in an hour) may trigger account review and temporary suspension.
4. Account Security & Responsibility
You are responsible for:
- • Keeping your password secure and confidential
- • Notifying us of unauthorized access immediately
- • Not sharing your account with others
- • Complying with all applicable laws
- • Respecting other users' rights
We're not liable for unauthorized access due to negligence or breach of these terms.
5. Resume Content & Sensitive Information
You certify that:
- • Your resume is your own work
- • You have the right to upload it
- • It doesn't contain stolen or confidential information
- • You've obtained consent if it involves others
- • It complies with applicable laws
Important: Avoid uploading sensitive information (social security numbers, financial data, medical information, etc.). ATScore analyzes resume content and this data may be logged for analysis purposes.
6. Intellectual Property
Your Content
You retain all rights to your resume and content. By uploading to ATScore, you grant us permission to analyze it and store it for service purposes.
Our Service
ATScore, its algorithms, recommendations, and interfaces are our intellectual property. You may not:
- • Copy or reverse-engineer our algorithms
- • Reproduce our analyses without permission
- • Claim credit for our work
- • Use our branding without authorization
7. Consequences of Violation
Violations of this policy may result in:
Warning
We may email you about suspected violations and give you time to correct them.
Temporary Suspension
Account access may be suspended while we investigate.
Account Termination
Serious or repeated violations may result in permanent account deletion.
No Refunds
Terminated accounts are not eligible for refunds.
Legal Action
For serious violations, we may pursue legal remedies.
8. Reporting Violations

9. Monitoring & Enforcement
We monitor ATScore for:
- • Unusual usage patterns
- • Suspicious account behavior
- • Fraudulent activity

Our systems automatically flag suspicious activity. We investigate reports within 48 hours.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy to address new threats or improve service. Changes take effect immediately. Continued use means acceptance of the updated policy.
